In this edition of our newsletter "El Guacamayo" we highlight our traditional Christmas campaign through the provision of food to more than 1,800 families of Puinahua, who thanks to this delivery will be able to enjoy delicious chocolate in the warmth, union and harmony of their families.

In addition, we highlight the delivery of 20 thousand specimens of gamitana fry, acquired in the laboratory of the Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP) in Iquitos, which have been cultivated in floating cages and after their growth will be distributed among different management groups in the area. We also share the progress of our fishery innovation project through the testimony of Twyla Angulo, a neighbor of Barrio Centro, who tells us her expectations about the implementation of the first ice plant in the Puinahua.

In this edition we share the details of our contribution to the Bretaña Educational Resource Center, also known as the Bretaña Municipal Library, in which we provided technological equipment, furniture, play material and more than 400 books, the latter collected through a voluntary campaign involving our employees.

In keeping with our commitment to transparency in the information we provide, we received a visit from members of our Citizen Socio-environmental Monitoring Program: Victor Pashanasi from the Las Palmas community, Jack Flores from San Miguel and Wagner Pacaya from Jorge Chavez, at our facilities in Lot 95. They conducted daily monitoring of our operations and answered their questions thanks to the technical advice of our engineers.

Likewise, committed to transparent dialogue with our neighboring localities, on October 6 we held a meeting with the Hydrocarbon Environmental Management Directorate, the Environmental Evaluation and Oversight Agency (OEFA), the Regional Energy and Mines Directorate, and representatives of the Indigenous Association for the Development and Conservation of Bajo Puinahua (AIDECOBAP) to communicate important information about our Partial Abandonment Plan for the former Location 4, located in Lot 95.

In this issue we share the story of Sergio Taricuarima, from our neighboring community of Bretaña. He is a talented young member of our local employment program, who joins us as a helper in the area of solid waste management. We also share the story of Sara Calampa, from our neighboring community of Las Palmas, who tells us about the progress made in her poultry breeding enterprise, thanks to the training provided as part of the Integrated Technical Assistance Service project sponsored by PetroTal.

The Ministry of Health in coordination with the Regional Government of Loret (GOREL) has allocated 500,000 doses of Sinopharm's COVID-19 vaccines to various regions with Amazonian population, including the Loreto region, to which inhabitants of the towns neighboring our operation in Lot 95, located in the district of Puinahua, province of Requena, belong.

Thanks to a joint effort with GOREL, at the beginning of July we joined the campaign prior to the vaccination against COVID-19: "Pongo el Hombro por el Perú", informing the members of the localities in our area of influence -through a dialogue based on respect and intercultural recognition- the importance of being part of the inoculation process. In addition, we provide logistical support for the transportation of medical personnel and vaccines to their destination points.

As a result of these efforts, during the months of July and August we were able to vaccinate more than 1,400 people over 18 years of age in our neighboring towns through ACLAS Bretaña. This vaccination campaign also benefited local workers who are working at our facilities in Lot 95.

At PetroTal we reaffirm our commitment to fight against COVID-19. We will continue to make different contributions in the Loreto region, and with greater emphasis if it is to contribute to the health care of our neighbors.
